WEEK 3: Class activity (DEBATE ABOUT TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS)

Class will be divided into groups of 4, we are going to do a debate .
- Group 1 & 2 are from Jakarta
- Group 1 will argue that the solutions adopted in Singapore can work in Jakarta
- Group 2 will argue that the solutions adopted in Singapore cannot work in Jakarta
- Group 3 & 4 are from Bekasi
- Group 3 will argue that the solutions adopted in Singapore can work in Bekasi
- Group 4 will argue that the solutions adopted in Singapore cannot work in Bekasi
Each group has 25 minutes to discuss and write their answers .
Write your discussion points on a piece of paper with the names and NPM of your group members and their roles in the group.
Roles:
1. research: someone who tries to find the answers
2. writer: someone who devises the answers
3. transcriber/notulen: someone who writes on the paper to be handed in to the teacher
4. presenter: someone who presents to the rest of the class
example:
After discussion session, 4-5 representatives from each group will present their answers to the class: Group 1 will go against group 2, Group 3 will go against group 4.
Each group gets 5 minutes to present, and each group member must speak.
The group with the strongest argument, voted by the non-competing group members, wins.
So there will be 2 groups who will be winners today.
